SST Lighting Vent Cap

Vent caps for automotive exterior lighting. Different airflow and moisture-vapor rates can be matched to the lamp cavity so the lens stays clearer and seals take less pressure load.

These issues commonly cause lamp fogging, condensation, lens clouding, seal failure, and reduced lighting performance, compromising driving safety and user experience.

Spider / SST Lighting Vent Cap utilizes high-performance ePTFE microporous membranes matched to different gradients of air permeability and moisture permeability. It features a compact design, easy installation, and stable protection levels, making it especially suitable for headlight and other automotive lighting applications. SST’s strong engineering team provides consulting, membrane selection, structural design, and other services during the customer’s early design stage.
